Tulum

Tulum

Tulum was such a magical place. We stayed there for a week and were able to book a beautiful cabana on the beach. We went to sleep to the sounds of crashing waves and wild birds chirping and woke to beautiful sunrise over the crystal clear waters.

The Tulum strip is a small town filled with bohemian stores and boutique hotels. The food is amazing and the people even better. We rode bikes everyday which makes the experience more magical. You get to take in all the views and get to enjoy all the small storefronts.

The town is detached from regular resorts and every hotel on the strip has it's own vibe to it. We stayed at Coco Tulum and we couldn't have chosen a better place. They received us with champagne and roses in our room! The cabanas are ocean front and have a handmade feel to them. The bar on the beach has swings on them which makes having a margarita on the beach much more special.

We explored the underground waterholes called "cenotes" ... I can say I wasn't afraid when we would dive 15 feet into the water but I would be lying. It was such a crazy experience, the mineral lined rocky caverns and its flying bats was something I will never forget.

We plan to go back to explore more and enjoy the food and its people.

I cut together some footage from our trip.
