Paris

Our first trip to Europe was to Paris and Barcelona. We arrived in Paris to a blistering 32 degree weather, which we surprisingly looked forward to. Being from LA you don’t get to really wear cold weather clothes so being wrapped up with gloves and wool coats was all the rage.

We only had four days in Paris and we made the best of it, we walked so much everyday and learned how to take their subway train. I fell in love with Versailles, the idea that one mans dream can become such a huge burden/gift to its country is amazing.

We kept gravitating to the eiffel tower every day, it’s as majestic as everyone describes. The light show at night is breathtaking. We had a little snafu that the power went out while we were in line for the lift to the top of the tower… so we ended up walking all the way up, which by itself was an awesome adventure.

Paris was such a beautiful city and I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the spring or summer there. Au Revoir!
